This is my go to 8k stone for razor honing.
Very fast and consistent in the scratch pattern, does not load much at all and splash and go is a big plus. The edge off the stone is very polished and can be shaved with with some adjustment with CrO or diamond compound. The stone is hard and slow dishing which is always a plus in my book.
